'Hello Iceberg' was recorded in 2016. The songs had been written in 2014 but following a big change in personal circumstances, songwriter Simon found it impossible to return to this project. Not because of anything emotionaly challenging, but simply because his life went a little crazy...yes he decided to open a record shop! Cue 4 years of chaos...

The album has been virtually finished for a long time, with only a few small alterations needed to make the mix perfect for the band. But finding the time to do this became impossible and so the record remains unfinished (to some ears)...and damn good to others!!!!

FINALLY It appears on Bandcamp many years after it was intended to be released!

Once again the 'first take best take' principal was generally used during the recording process, and 'Hello Iceberg' clocks in at a majestic 29 minutes-not bad for 14 songs! Recorded and (partially) mixed in 3 days, 'Hello Iceberg' is dedicated to those whose life suddenly takes an unexpected turn...
